ABOUT

I am currently finishing my PhD on the role of learning for mothers seeking sanctuary in Wales. I have an MSc in Social Sciences Research Methods, an MA in Human Rights and Social Change, a BA in History, and a British Computer Society Graduate Diploma

I previously worked as a project manager and business analyst for over a decade, focusing on organisational and systems change. I then moved into the education sector as an ESOL teacher and then into Higher Education. I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and an Associate Fellowship of the Advance Higher Education Academy. I’m also an Associate Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

I am available for training and research consultancy. I specialize in collaborative work focused on evidence for funding applications and policy or service improvements. I am particularly interested in projects relating to social justice and inequity.
